Dear Parents

School Eucharist On Monday at 2.00pm we will celebrate our school Eucharist. Please do feel free to come along to this special event.

French Concert On Thursday at 10.45am, the children will give a French concert. Every child will take part in this. This was great fun last year and we encourage you to come along and enjoy their huge achievements in speaking a modern foreign language.

Trophies If your child received a trophy last year, could we ask that you return it to the school so we can prepare for this year’s awards.

Thank you! Nearly everyone has signed up with the Parent Portal!

Reports are available on the Parent Portal today!

Log on to the site using your e-mail address and password and then click on documents. Your child’s report will be accessed when you click on report. If you have more than one child click on the silhouette at the top of the page and the document section for that child should automatically come up.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of your child’s report, please make an appointment to speak to your child’s teacher.

Music Concert On Thursday 12th July at 5.00pm, we will be having our annual summer music concert. All the students are our school who take part in peripatetic music will be offered the opportunity to perform and will be prepared by their peripatetic music teachers. Children who take music lessons outside of school, and who play to a good standard and would like to take part, please complete the slip (available at the office or last week’s newsletter). If we are overwhelmed by requests, they will be allocated on a “First come, first served” basis. I shall ask each child to play for me ahead of the time to ensure that they are confident and able to play in public. Each child will only have a one minute slot since we want to be finished in an hour. They can wear their own clothes, suitable for a public performance.

Infant Fun Day Once again this was a great event, a joint mini sports day with our local cluster of primary schools. Thank you to all who offered to help – without your support we could not take the children to these events.

Life Education Bus The children took part in workshops on keeping healthy, managing peer pressure, feelings, friends and other related themes through the course of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Work Experience Students We have offered work experience to a number of students, some in school, others at university and others preparing for their PGCE through the course of this summer term. We are always pleased to be able to support our local community in this way.
